The Journal of Biomedical & Space Sciences (JBSS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal dedicated to advancing knowledge at the intersection of biomedical sciences, clinical medicine, aerospace medicine, space systems engineering, physics, and emerging technologies.

JBSS publishes high-quality research that contributes to scientific, technological, operational, and clinical advances relevant to human health on Earth, during spaceflight, and in isolated, confined, remote, or otherwise extreme environments.

The journal is published by the LIASTRA Institute through the International Center for Biomedical & Space Sciences (ICBS), Brazil.
